The Derby Detective Agency is an installation work using photographs of Derby, UK. It appropriates the narrative of the private detective and the local news from places around the world called Derby. It considers the uses of photography within the public realm, the mechanisms we use to understanding an unfamiliar place along with the facades and surfaces within a city within which events may or may not have been played out.
